Secondary Teacher (Accounting)

About the role

Padua College, an independent Catholic boys' day school for Years 5-12 run by the Franciscan Friars Minor, is seeking a full-time, permanent Secondary Teacher to deliver Senior Accounting. Teachers play an integral role in delivering dynamic, innovative pedagogy that promotes inclusiveness, personalisation and care.

Key responsibilities

• Promote the College's mission and ethos through active classroom participation and by modelling appropriate standards of behaviour.
• Maintain a positive, effective learning environment through well-prepared, varied lessons that cater to a range of student abilities and interests.
• Set a challenging and realistic homework program.
• Provide prompt and thorough feedback on student work submitted for marking and supervision.

Required profile

• Ability to teach Senior Accounting.
• Bachelor of Education or equivalent.
• Current Queensland Teacher Registration.
• Accreditation to teach in a Catholic school.
• Dedication to the profession of education.
