About the role

Tailem Bend District Hospital is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join its acute, emergency and aged care teams on a four-week contract during the Christmas period. The fixed-term position runs from approximately 12 December 2026 through 9 January 2027, at 0.84-1.0 FTE across a range of clinical settings. It suits an experienced nurse looking for seasonal work or someone who wants to support the hospital during a busy period.

Required profile

Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA
Demonstrated experience in acute, emergency or aged care settings
Preferred: Diploma of Nursing (Enrolled Nurse) or equivalent qualification
Preferred: current First Aid and CPR certification
Preferred: experience in seasonal or contract nursing roles

Required skills

Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
Excellent communication and teamwork across multidisciplinary teams
Flexibility to adapt to different ward environments and patient acuity levels
