Scullery – Kitchen Hand

About the role

Join the kitchen team at Qantas Lounges by Accor, located in Sydney Airport. This full‑time Kitchen Hand position keeps the back‑of‑house running smoothly in a fast‑paced, iconic hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, pots, pans and kitchen equipment using industrial dishwashers.
• Clean and maintain dishwashing equipment and report any issues.
• Keep kitchen, preparation and scullery areas clean and hygienic.
• Handle chemicals and equipment safely.
• Assist with basic food preparation when required.
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
• Work a rotating roster that includes mornings, afternoons and weekends.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment.
• Understanding of food safety requirements.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including mornings, afternoons and weekends.
