Full‑time Cook for Sydney International Lounge

About the role

Join Accor’s Sydney International Lounges as a full‑time Cook, preparing and serving high‑quality food for breakfast buffets and a la carte service. You will work closely with the Executive Chef to deliver a memorable culinary experience for lounge passengers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and serve food for the breakfast buffet with variety and flair.
• Maintain strict stock rotation, minimise waste and follow stock control procedures.
• Assist in ingredient preparation, including chopping, slicing, dicing and measuring.
• Adhere to food safety protocols and keep all work areas clean and tidy.
• Wash dishes during service and ensure equipment is maintained, serviced and cleaned.
• Report any issues to the CDP and General Manager.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Cook in a high‑volume kitchen.
• Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Full working rights in Australia and ability to pass a federal police background check.

• Food preparation techniques (chopping, slicing, dicing, measuring).
• Stock rotation and waste minimisation.
• Food safety and sanitation regulations.
