Science Teacher (Senior School) – Full‑Time

About the role

Haileybury Rendall School in Darwin is seeking an enthusiastic Mathematics & Science Teacher for its senior school. This permanent full‑time position starts on 5 October 2026 and involves delivering the VCE curriculum and supporting students across all year levels.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging science (and mathematics) lessons from junior through senior years.
• Implement explicit instruction in early years and student‑centred learning in middle years.
• Teach the three‑year VCE program, preparing students for ATAR outcomes.
• Contribute to co‑curricular activities, including sport, music and community initiatives.
• Promote health, wellbeing and a safe learning environment in line with the school’s Child Safe policies.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with appropriate certification for secondary education.
• Demonstrated commitment to best‑practice teaching and continuous improvement.
• Experience delivering curriculum in a diverse, inclusive setting.
• Strong collaborative mindset and dedication to student wellbeing.
