About the role
The School Community Partnership Facilitator supports the Principal in building strong, culturally responsive connections between the school, families, community organisations and local services. The role focuses on improving student attendance, engagement, wellbeing and learning through trusted partnerships.
Key responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships and ensure cultural safety with families, community groups and service providers.
- Connect the school with local agencies and coordinate responses for students and families.
- Strengthen family, student and community voice in school decision‑making.
- Use local knowledge and evidence to inform planning and improve attendance and engagement.
Required profile
- Demonstrated cultural capability, understanding of local histories and contexts.
- Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and support coordinated responses.
- Commitment to student wellbeing, inclusion and community engagement.
