About the role
We are looking for a reliable Sawmill Machine Operator / Labourer to join our family‑run Hayters Sawmill in Werombi, Sydney’s south‑west. No prior experience is required as full training will be provided.
Key responsibilities
- Operate sawmill machinery safely and efficiently.
- Stack and strap timber as part of the production flow.
- Perform general manual duties and light lifting.
- Support overall sawmill operations and maintain a clean work area.
Required profile
- Valid car licence and own vehicle.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Preference given to candidates with general labour or machine‑operation experience.
- Local residents are encouraged to apply.

What we offer
- Competitive hourly pay of $30–$32 AUD.
- Early finish on Fridays (7 am–1:30 pm) and no weekend work.

- Training provided to operate all equipment.
