SAP SDM/Project Manager - Contract

About the role

Hastha Solutions has an urgent requirement for an SAP SDM/Project Manager on a 6-month contract in Melbourne, with possible extension. The role coordinates project activities between functional and technical team members and manages a small team defining requirements for a core banking platform.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a small team to define requirements for a core banking platform by challenging the business on its needs and wants
• Provide project management expertise and lead key project work streams across the full project life cycle, following governance processes
• Scope, plan and manage projects to meet time, cost and quality targets
• Establish and maintain risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for identified risks and issues
• Build relationships across the bank to support strategic goals and ensure projects meet internal and external customer requirements
• Support CI in the project environment, promoting Lean principles through CI tools such as Work-Out and Work-Place
• Test and certify the adequacy and effectiveness of controls regularly in line with bank policies

Required profile

• Australian or NZ citizens or PR holders only
• PMP certification and exposure to SAP modules

Required skills

• SAP modules: SD, MM, Commerce Cloud, FICO, IBP, HANA Security, OpenText, Ariba (good to have)
