SAP Basis Consultant

About the role

Fujitsu is seeking an experienced SAP Basis Consultant to lead and support enterprise SAP landscapes across ECC and S/4HANA environments. You will collaborate with infrastructure, security, application, and cloud teams to ensure stable, secure, and high‑performing SAP systems on‑premise and in the cloud.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support SAP ECC, S/4HANA, Solution Manager, BW, PI/PO, Fiori, Gateway, and SAP HANA systems.
• Perform SAP kernel upgrades, Support Package Stack updates, and patching activities.
• Execute SAP application upgrades, system refreshes, migrations, and client copies.
• Manage SAP installations, transport management, and post‑copy automation.
• Administer SAP HANA database – backup/recovery, replication, performance monitoring.
• Monitor and optimise system performance, capacity planning, and workload balancing.
• Implement and maintain High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions.
• Support SAP security administration in coordination with security teams.
• Provide production support, on‑call rotation, and participate in audits and compliance reviews.

Required profile

• 8+ years of hands‑on SAP Basis administration experience.
• Strong background in large‑scale enterprise SAP environments.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams in agile, multi‑party projects.
• Excellent understanding of SAP architecture and landscape design.
