About the role
The Sample Receipt Officer works in Eurofins' Murarrie laboratory, handling the sub‑sampling and weigh‑out of incoming samples and supporting the preparation laboratory. The role operates on rotating shifts and reports to the Team Leader.
Key responsibilities
- Use the LIMS priority worklist to select the next job and print required stickers.
- Homogenise, weigh and perform QA/QC on subsamples.
- Transfer subsamples to the appropriate laboratory section.
- Assist with sample receipt and disposal.
- Maintain general housekeeping and follow Eurofins Code of Ethics.
Required profile
- Comfort working in a technical laboratory environment.
- Desire to continuously learn and improve.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and hands‑on work ethic.
Required skills
- Proficiency with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System).
- Experience in sample homogenising, weighing and basic QA/QC procedures.
