Salesforce Consultant

About the role

Early Start Australia is looking for a Salesforce Consultant to join its Applications Team in Melbourne. You will configure, maintain and support multiple Salesforce organisations tailored to the needs of its health business units, working with internal teams and external software vendors so that platforms remain secure, compliant and user-friendly. This is a hands-on role within a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom Salesforce solutions, take part in code reviews and document technical processes
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity, manage data migration strategies and maintain access controls
• Troubleshoot Salesforce issues, work with the Applications and IT teams and escalate complex problems
• Identify automation opportunities and configure Salesforce to streamline operations
• Follow industry regulations (HIPAA, GDPR), internal change management procedures and keep clear documentation
• Follow workplace health and safety policies and respect cultural awareness in daily work

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, including Apex, LWC, Visualforce and APIs
• Salesforce certifications (e.g. Platform Developer 1, Platform App Builder) preferred
• Experience in healthcare or aged/community care is a bonus

Required skills

• Strong data management skills, including migration and cleansing
• Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps workflows
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
