Sales Specialist – Variable Speed Drives

About the role

Join ABB’s Drive Products division in Western Australia to lead sales of Variable Speed Drives (VSD) across the WA region. You will build long‑term customer relationships, grow market share and support the delivery of sustainable industrial solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive volume, mix and profitability by selling drives and systems, identifying major opportunities and prioritising key accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, distributors, system integrators, panel builders and key accounts to capture new business and convert competitor customers.
• Prepare and maintain an annual sales strategy for the WA market, monitor pipeline and trends.
• Manage the Salesforce CRM platform to ensure accurate sales performance, pricing and trading conditions.
• Support channels in proposal preparation, multi‑tender bids and contract negotiations.

Required profile

• 15+ years of business development or sales experience, preferably with ABB VSDs or similar industrial drive solutions.
• Degree in Engineering or a related field and fluency in English.
• Current driver’s licence and full Australian working rights.

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of Variable Speed Drive (VSD) technology.
• Proficiency with Salesforce CRM for pipeline and sales tracking.
