Sales Planner

About the role

Daikin Australia is looking for a Sales Planner to work in a fast-paced, dynamic sales environment, providing critical insights at State and National levels to support informed business decisions. The role reports to the GM – Strategy and Sales Planning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the annual sales budget for each business unit.
• Analyse internal sales results and trends, as well as external market influences and trends.
• Prepare and distribute monthly and ad hoc sales and market performance reports.
• Prepare sales and product forecasts by coordinating with different levels of the business.

Required profile

• Proactive, detail-oriented professional who takes ownership of their work and uses data-driven insights to improve business performance.
• Ability to analyse data to find solutions and handle complex priorities.
• Minimum three years' experience in sales planning, demand planning or a similar analytical role, preferably in engineering, manufacturing or technical product environments.
• A background in Demand Planning or Sales Analysis is advantageous.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI and SQL, with the ability to analyse and interpret complex datasets.
• Strong interpersonal skills to manage conflicting priorities and work with stakeholders.
