Sales Executive – Parental Leave Cover

About the role

Nine, Australia's largest locally owned media company, is seeking a Sales Executive for a 12-month parental leave cover to join its Regional TV team. The Sales Executive is the primary day-to-day contact for the media planner/buyer and is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to advertising agencies and clients and driving a revenue outcome.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a pipeline of briefs and proactive solutions to consistently hit revenue targets.
• Produce accurate revenue forecasts and articulate product value to grow client investment.
• Create targeted advertising schedules across all broadcast channels based on briefs from advertising agencies.
• Serve as day-to-day contact with key agency contacts.
• Collaborate across internal teams to deliver strategically led partner campaigns.
• Leverage client and market insights to create commercial opportunities.

Required profile

• Prior media sales or digital advertising experience with a proven track record.
• Demonstrated ability in revenue growth, client account management and accurate forecasting.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and inform strategic sales decisions.
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills, strong presentation abilities and a collaborative, solution-focused approach.
• A current and valid Australian driver's licence.
• Right to lawfully work and live in Australia.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
