Sales Director – MSP Channel (ANZ)

About the role

We are looking for a proven leader with a track record of building and scaling MSP, channel or partner businesses in high‑growth environments. As AvePoint aims to grow from US$500M to over US$1B, the Sales Director, MSP will drive the next phase of growth across Australia and New Zealand, targeting a 40‑60% annual increase.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and operationalise the MSP channel sales strategy, translating broader GTM priorities into a clear territory plan.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of Partner and Distribution Business Managers to execute the strategy.
• Build executive relationships with MSP partners to drive retention, growth and a strong partner experience.
• Generate pipeline, close new and upsell ACV opportunities and expand existing ARR.
• Partner with Marketing and Solution Engineering to run joint campaigns and solution motions.

Required profile

• Proven success in B2B sales leadership within a channel, partner or MSP ecosystem.
• Experience managing and coaching sales or partner managers in a hands‑on player/coach style.
• Strong pipeline generation, forecasting discipline and CRM hygiene.
• Commercial acumen with experience closing subscription/SaaS outcomes (ARR/ACV).
• Excellent stakeholder management across partners and internal teams.
