Sales Development Representative (Remote)

About the role

Zap & Shine Crew, an Australian cleaning and property‑services company, is expanding its remote sales team. As a Sales Development Representative you will turn inbound customer enquiries into confirmed bookings, acting as the first point of contact for Australian clients.

Key responsibilities

• Respond quickly and professionally to new enquiries via phone, SMS, email, social media and CRM.
• Understand customer cleaning needs and convert enquiries into booked jobs.
• Follow up on quotes, handle objections related to price, availability and service, and close sales.
• Maintain accurate notes, follow‑up tasks and booking details in the CRM system.
• Identify upsell opportunities and recommend additional services.
• Work towards individual and team conversion targets and share feedback with management.

Required profile

• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Strong communication, persuasion and negotiation abilities.
• Confidence speaking with customers on the phone and handling objections.
• Goal‑oriented, persistent with follow‑ups, and comfortable being measured on performance.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with a reliable internet connection.
• Availability to work aligned with Australian business hours.
• Previous experience in phone sales, telesales, inside sales or similar customer‑facing roles is a plus.
