Sales Development Representative - Japanese Speaker

About the role

TeamViewer, a provider of a digital workplace platform, is looking for high-energy, resilient and strategic Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to grow its teams. The main goal is to build a pipeline of qualified opportunities for Account Executives through outbound prospecting across email, phone and social channels, turning cold interest into warm opportunities. The role focuses on top-of-funnel activities.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and research high-fit accounts and key decision-makers in the target market
• Run daily outbound activities including cold calling, personalised emailing and LinkedIn networking
• Hold initial discovery calls to understand prospect pain points and check if the solution fits
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM so no lead is lost
• Work with Marketing and Account Executives to refine messaging and targeting
• Learn the product, industry trends and the competitive landscape

Required profile

• Fluent Japanese and strong English communication skills
• Customer-facing experience; no previous sales experience required
• Strong verbal and written communication, able to explain complex ideas simply
• Resilient, proactive and willing to try different approaches after rejection
• Willingness to learn quickly and act on feedback
• A university or college degree in Business, Marketing or a related field is a plus
