Sales Development Representative - APAC

About the role

Dolby is looking for a Sales Development Representative to join its OptiView team and help grow its presence across the APAC region. It suits someone with experience in B2B technology sales who wants to develop their career in a fast-moving, international sales environment, working closely with the APAC team across media, sports, streaming, broadcast and digital platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify high-potential accounts across Australia and the wider APAC region
• Build and run outbound prospecting campaigns by email, phone and LinkedIn
• Engage stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Digital, Streaming, Broadcast, Content and Commercial teams
• Run initial discovery to understand business challenges, technical requirements and potential use cases
• Qualify opportunities before passing them to the relevant Account Executive
• Work with Sales, Marketing and other teams on target-account strategies
• Maintain accurate account and opportunity data in Salesforce
• Help identify new markets, accounts and growth areas for Dolby OptiView

Required profile

• At least 6-12 months of experience in an SDR, BDR or similar B2B technology sales role
• Comfortable with outbound prospecting, including cold calling, email and LinkedIn
• Experience prospecting mid-market or enterprise organisations
• Confident speaking with business and technical stakeholders
• Structured approach to prospecting, able to work independently within a wider sales team
• Based in Sydney, Australia
