Sales Conversion Representative QLD North

About the role

Makita Australia is looking for a Sales Conversion Representative to represent its power tool brand across the QLD North region (Rockhampton to Gladstone and surrounding areas). The role involves bringing Makita products to life through onsite product demonstrations, customer engagement and targeted sales activity. It is a full-time hybrid position.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging product demonstrations and presentations
• Build strong relationships with end users, dealers and site managers
• Cold call job sites and commercial and residential locations to uncover opportunities
• Provide market insights and feedback to drive product development
• Travel across QLD North, with occasional interstate trips

Required profile

• Experience with power tools or equipment (a trade background is a plus)
• Confident communicator who connects with people at all levels
• Self-motivated, adaptable and proactive in generating opportunities
• Comfortable travelling across the territory
