Parts Salesperson

About the role

CEA is looking for a motivated, customer-focused Parts Salesperson to join its Rockhampton team. The role suits someone who enjoys working with customers, has strong parts knowledge and likes a busy, hands-on environment. You will support internal and external customers by identifying, sourcing and supplying the right parts efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Handle parts enquiries by phone, email and at the counter
• Identify and source the correct parts for customers and technicians
• Prepare quotes and process parts orders
• Build strong relationships with customers
• Support the Service and Sales teams with parts-related enquiries
• Manage backorders and keep customers updated
• Assist with stock control, ordering and inventory management
• Pick, pack, receive and dispatch parts when required
• Maintain accurate records in parts and inventory systems

Required profile

• Previous parts interpretation or parts sales experience
• Experience in heavy equipment, construction, automotive, agricultural or a similar industry is highly regarded
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Current Australian driver's licence

Required skills

• Good computer and administration skills
• Practical approach to problem solving
• Forklift licence is desirable but not essential
