Room Attendant

About the role

As a Room Attendant at Mantra on Russell, you will be part of the Housekeeping team delivering a spotless and welcoming environment for guests staying in our apartment‑style hotel rooms. Your attention to detail and friendly attitude will help create memorable experiences for visitors to Melbourne’s CBD.

Key responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guest rooms, including changing linens, cleaning bathrooms and wiping down surfaces.
• Maintain the high cleanliness standards set by the hotel and follow established procedures.
• Restock and organise housekeeping trolleys with all necessary supplies.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely and adhere to all health and safety protocols.
• Respect guest privacy and security at all times.
• Report any maintenance issues promptly to ensure a flawless stay.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a cleaner or room attendant is a plus.
• Warm, welcoming communication style that makes guests and teammates feel at home.
• Strong eye for detail and ability to work efficiently while managing time.
• Physically capable of moving between rooms, using stairs and navigating corridors.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
