Road Construction Operator

About the role

Stabilised Pavements Group is looking for experienced road construction operators to work across NSW on civil construction projects, with travel and time spent away from home. The role suits reliable, safety-focused workers who enjoy hands-on outdoor work, operating trucks and equipment and being part of a strong team. The position is permanent and full time.

Key responsibilities

• Operate HR trucks and/or other road construction machinery
• Perform manual handling where required
• Carry out basic truck and machinery inspections and maintenance
• Maintain records such as logbooks
• Demonstrate and follow safe work practices

Required profile

• Experience in civil plant; willingness to be trained on specialised stabilisation equipment
• A focus on a safe and productive workplace
• Willingness to travel throughout NSW (and possibly interstate)
• Flexibility, good presentation, punctuality and reliability
• Impeccable customer service skills
• Ability to undergo pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing

Required skills

• HR/HC truck licence is desirable
• Mixer, spreader and stabiliser operation experience preferred
