Regional Manager - Northern NSW Civil Construction

About the role

Stabilised Pavements Group, a nationally recognised civil construction company with its head office on the NSW Central Coast, is recruiting a Regional Manager for its Northern New South Wales operations. Reporting to the General Manager, South East and based at Somersby, the role leads the region and drives its strategic direction. It covers business, financial, safety, technical, contract and project management, business development, client relationships, sales and marketing, and is supported by an experienced local team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare quotes, tenders and pricing for stabilisation and related works in Northern NSW
• Manage customers and clients, giving technical or operational advice and handling marketing and sales
• Liaise with the Operations Manager on scheduling of projects and resources
• Manage invoicing, reporting, budgeting and review of monthly job costs
• Contract and project manage stabilisation projects under the company's Project Management Framework
• Maintain and develop SPA systems, policies, training management and other company documentation
• Ensure regional operations comply with legislation and company management systems, and advise on improvements

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in a similar client-facing role
• Extensive knowledge of civil construction, preferably with exposure to pavements and stabilisation
• Understanding of the NSW road maintenance and construction market
• Experience in construction contract management and commercial acumen
• Ability to lead a team and maintain a safe workplace
• Engineering qualification or another tertiary qualification preferred
