Retirement Community Manager

About the role

The Retirement Community Manager will lead day‑to‑day operations of The Sanctuary Retirement Living in Caboolture South, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for senior residents. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will drive resident satisfaction, compliance, and financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all village services including safety, security, maintenance, compliance and events.
• Develop and manage community budgets, financial performance and present updates to residents.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and internal policies.
• Lead, recruit, train, roster and develop a team of staff and department managers.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Facilities, Care, Marketing, Legal, Sales, Risk) and external contractors to improve facilities and resident experience.

Required profile

• Prior experience in operations‑based management (hospitality, hotel/tourism, property or aged‑care).
• People‑leadership skills with a passion for developing staff.
• Empathetic understanding of resident and family needs.
• Current Police Check (can be arranged) and full COVID‑19 vaccination.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office.
