Retail Vending Manager – National Network

About the role

As the Retail Vending Manager you will own Sodexo's national vending and unattended retail network, driving sales growth, operational performance and customer experience across remote and corporate sites.

Key responsibilities

• Lead performance and continuous improvement of the vending network nationally.
• Drive sales, gross margin, product availability and customer satisfaction across all channels.
• Analyse performance data to identify revenue, profitability and efficiency opportunities.
• Manage suppliers, service partners and technology providers to ensure service levels and machine uptime.
• Develop and implement ranges, pricing, planograms, promotions and merchandising standards.
• Monitor KPIs such as sales, margin, uptime, availability, shrinkage and profitability.
• Collaborate with Category, Supply Chain, Finance, IT and Operations to deliver commercially successful solutions.
• Support implementation of new technologies including telemetry, cashless payments and smart retail.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years experience in vending operations, retail management, FMCG or similar commercial environment.
• Proven ability to improve sales performance, profitability and operational efficiency.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and data‑driven decision‑making skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship‑building capabilities.
• Ability to travel nationally to sites as required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with retail reporting platforms, telemetry systems and POS platforms.
• Knowledge of inventory management tools and merchandising principles.
