Retail Store Manager (Sydney)

About the role

Palermo Perfumes is seeking a full‑time Retail Store Manager to lead its Sydney store. You will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience while driving sales and maintaining the brand’s high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations, including opening/closing, staff scheduling, cash handling and inventory control.
• Lead, coach and develop the store team to achieve sales targets and provide outstanding service.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the store presentation reflects the brand.
• Monitor stock levels, coordinate deliveries and implement loss‑prevention measures.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve concerns promptly.
• Track performance metrics and report results to senior leadership.
• Collaborate on in‑store promotions, training needs and process improvements.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑facing skills with a focus on building long‑term relationships.
• Proven store management experience, including staff supervision and day‑to‑day retail operations.
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
• Knowledge of retail loss‑prevention practices and compliance.
• Experience in beauty, fragrance or specialty retail is preferred.
• Ability to analyse sales reports, set targets and motivate teams.
• Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends, evenings and public holidays.
