Retail Sales Travel Consultant

About the role

Flight Centre is hiring a full-time, on-site Retail Sales Travel Consultant in its Belmont, WA store. You will work on a rotating roster across a 7-day trade, turning enquiries into bookings and selling complete holidays to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan itineraries, book travel and convert enquiries into bookings in person, by phone and by email.
• Sell the whole holiday, including flights, accommodation, car hire, tours, travel insurance, cruises and transfers, working towards individual KPIs and sales targets.
• Build a customer base of new and returning customers, from regular domestic bookings to international holidays.
• Advise customers on travel-related questions such as visas, best time to travel, packing and local food.

Required profile

• Seasoned traveller with a history of international destinations.
• Great organisational skills, able to manage a calendar and respond quickly to calls and emails.
• Determination to meet sales targets and KPIs in a busy, high-pressure environment.
• Enthusiasm and warmth that makes customers want to book again.

Required skills

• Savviness with computers, able to switch between complex booking systems to find flights and packages.
