Retail Sales Manager

About the role

Elders is looking for a Retail Sales Manager to join its team in Merredin on a permanent, full-time basis. As a key member and leader within the branch, you will use your product knowledge and customer service skills to build strong client relationships and recommend products and services that help their businesses grow. The role suits someone who is a strong leader with demonstrated people management and retail operational skills.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage retail business plans and budgets
• Lead a retail sales team
• Meet key performance indicators and expenditure targets
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and recommend the Elders range of products and services
• Sourcing new business proactively to achieve KPIs and targets

Required profile

• Comfortable and thriving in a collaborative working environment
• Passionate about making a real difference for clients and the community
• Extensive sales experience and a successful sales record in a rural products business
• Committed to high-quality customer service
• Ability to cultivate relationships with current and future clients

Required skills

• Extensive knowledge of agriculture products, the region and competitors
