Retail Sales Assistant – Tuggerah

About the role

Join Pillow Talk’s Tuggerah store as a Retail Sales Assistant and become the face of the brand for every customer who walks through the doors. You will deliver an outstanding in‑store experience, helping shoppers find the perfect linen and homeware products while supporting store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide friendly, consultative service to customers, recommending products that meet their needs.
• Assist with stock receival, unpacking, and allocating merchandise to the shop floor or storeroom.
• Maintain visual standards and ensure shelves are fully stocked and tidy.
• Handle point‑of‑sale transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Respond to customer enquiries, resolve issues, and follow up on feedback.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and store performance goals.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a customer‑focused retail environment.
• Ability to manage stock receival and replenishment tasks.
• Strong commitment to delivering an excellent customer experience.
• Personable, confident and able to build relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Proven consultative selling ability.
• Capable of multitasking and adapting to changing priorities.
• Creative eye for detail and good problem‑solving skills.
