Retail Pharmacist – Full-time in Buderim

About the role

We are looking for a registered Retail Pharmacist to join our pharmacy outlet chain in Buderim, Queensland. This full‑time position offers the opportunity to deliver high‑quality pharmacy services within a supportive community‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medicines in compliance with the Pharmacy Board of Australia and the National Health Act.
• Provide patient counselling, health information, and primary health‑care advice.
• Collaborate with GPs, allied health professionals and the community to ensure patient‑centred care.
• Supervise the supply of Pharmacy‑Only Medicines, unscheduled medicines and health products.
• Utilise dispensary assistants for routine dispensing tasks and oversee pharmacy technicians, interns and sales assistants.
• Conduct clinical interventions using GuildCare software and document them accurately.
• Prepare PBS and Medicare claims and manage staged supply services according to guidelines.
• Maintain stock integrity by checking expiries, rotating inventory and monitoring storage conditions.

Required profile

• Successful completion of a Bachelor of Pharmacy.
• Current general registration with AHPRA.
• At least 12 months experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GuildCare pharmacy software.
