Retail Operations Attendant - Part-Time

About the role

Royal Sydney, a private members club in Australia known for hosting major sporting events such as the Australian Open, is looking for a friendly, proactive team player to deliver outstanding service to its members. You will report to the Golf Operations Manager and help run the concourse and pro-shop areas, drive sales and keep presentation standards high. This is a part-time role of 24-32 hours per week, with shifts from 5:30am to 7:00pm covering weekdays, weekends and public holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to members and guests.
• Assist with purchasing, stock control and POS operations.
• Keep the pro-shop and storage areas tidy and organised.
• Ensure members and guests follow the dress code, mobile phone usage and guest sign-in policies.
• Keep management informed of order requests, log invoices through the POS and assist with quarterly stocktakes.
• Stay up to date with daily events and fixtures, assist with tee bookings and time sheet management.
• Clean and maintain bag storage, cart storage and staging areas.

Required profile

• Retail experience; sports or golf experience is a bonus.
• Strong knowledge of golf etiquette and rules.
• Friendly, positive and energetic disposition with great presentation standards.

Required skills

• POS operations and stock control.
• Communication and organisational skills.
