Retail Manager - Strathpine

About the role

Fitness Cartel Health Clubs is opening a new club in Strathpine and is seeking expressions of interest from experienced Retail Managers to help launch and grow it. Retail Managers are the face of the Pro-Shop and Barbell Café and lead the retail team, working closely with the Customer Service Manager and Club General Manager. The club plans to expand to 60+ clubs by 2030.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, train and support Retail Assistants, and prepare staff rosters with adequate coverage during peak periods.
• Track retail sales, order stock and support inventory control.
• Manage supplements, food, beverages and apparel, staying informed on new products.
• Lead the team to achieve sales targets and key performance indicators.
• Create daily Facebook and Instagram content to promote retail offerings.
• Maintain high customer service standards and complete other administrative duties as required.

Required profile

• 3+ years of retail sales supervisory experience, ideally in fitness, nutrition or supplements.
• Experience in a KPI-driven environment and achieving sales targets.
• Strong communication skills, customer-focused and able to coach, motivate and lead a team.
• First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain it.
• Australian working rights.

• Computer literacy and ability to learn new systems.
• Proactive, reliable and professional approach with strong attention to detail.
