Retail & Education Manager – ANZ

About the role

The Retail & Education Manager will lead the Retail & Education team across Australia and New Zealand, driving retail sales and delivering education and training initiatives for Kendo’s portfolio of beauty brands. Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, this role is central to achieving ANZ KPI targets for retail sales, wholesale sales and operating profit.

Key responsibilities

• Drive retail sales for all Kendo brands across Australia and New Zealand.
• Develop and execute yearly retail and education strategies aligned with sales KPIs and retailer partnership needs.
• Identify new growth opportunities through field insights, feedback and market trends.
• Collaborate closely with internal Commercial and Marketing teams to ensure alignment with broader brand objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with retailer field and store leadership to implement sales strategies.
• Manage the Retail & Education team to support new product launches, store openings and brand initiatives.
• Provide escalation support for in‑store inventory, visual merchandising and maintenance requests.
• Produce weekly and monthly retail sales reports, delivering store insights, stock feedback and field trends.
• Act as an ambassador for Kendo brands, maintaining a professional appearance and brand representation.

Required profile

• Member of the Commercial team with responsibility for delivering on ANZ KPI targets.
• Experience working closely with senior commercial leadership.
• Proven ability to develop and execute retail sales and education strategies.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with retailer leadership at all levels.
• Team‑management experience, including coordination of launches and store initiatives.
• Analytical mindset for reporting and translating field insights into actionable plans.
