Resourcing Leader

About the role

Laing O'Rourke, a $6 billion privately owned global engineering and manufacturing-led construction company, is looking for a Resourcing Leader to join its growing team in Sydney. You will join a national resourcing team committed to diversity and inclusion.

Key responsibilities

• Lead recruitment across Corporate Overheads and support functions nationally
• Oversee NSW project resourcing with direct report responsibilities
• Partner with the Strategic Programmes business on future workforce requirements
• Build proactive talent pipelines through sourcing and market mapping
• Assist with coordination of international mobility and capability transfers, working with the UK resourcing team on employee transfers between Laing O'Rourke businesses
• Support national recruitment across the Select and Rail Operations businesses

Required profile

• Strong end-to-end recruitment and resourcing experience in a leadership role
• Ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders, influence hiring decisions and act as a strategic resourcing partner
• Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple business functions
• Experience in professional services/advisory and engineering or construction environments is highly desirable
