Residential Manager - Aged Care

About the role

HammondCare is looking for an experienced full-time Residential Manager to lead and inspire the team at its Horsley aged care home. The role sits within the Mission in Action framework and is accountable for overseeing all aspects of clinical care provision, the direction and performance of the residential home, and delivering high-quality, individualised care in a calm, supportive and safe environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, inspire and empower multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centred care that promotes independence, dignity and quality of life for residents.
• Oversee clinical, operational and financial aspects of the home, ensuring safe, compliant and high-performing service delivery.
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff, health professionals and external service providers.
• Drive continuous improvement, accreditation outcomes and sustainable occupancy through leadership, governance and strategic planning.

Required profile

• AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience as a Residential Manager in aged care, ideally with dementia experience, or proven care management experience.
• Ability to lead, manage, motivate and develop a team.
• Commitment to HammondCare's Christian mission and Mission in Action.
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Working knowledge of Residential Accreditation Standards is desirable.

The role is a Responsible Person position under the Aged Care Act 2024; successful applicants must meet suitability requirements and complete screening and verification checks, including a criminal record check and an NDIS Workers Screening Check.
