Residential Electrician

About the role

Mountain Man Electrical, an electrical contractor in Gulliver, Townsville, is looking for a driven, A-grade electrician to join its small team of tradesmen. The work covers residential electrical projects, including fault finding, property pole installation, rewiring homes, air conditioning, solar and battery system installations, as well as service and maintenance. The workplace is on site.

Key responsibilities

• Work on residential electrical, air conditioning and solar projects, including fault finding, property pole installation and rewiring homes.
• Train apprentices on the job to deliver consistent, high-quality work.
• Work to a quote, manage client relationships and oversee project tasks and timelines.
• Adhere to safety and risk assessment requirements and OH&S standards.

Required profile

• Qualified electrician with a positive, can-do attitude, punctual, reliable and well presented.
• Team player with integrity, strong attention to detail and a focus on safety.
• Open driver's licence and ability to pass a medical and police check.
• Desirable: experience with online job scheduling systems such as Simpro.

• Salary of AUD 80,000 to 120,000, negotiable pay rate based on experience and performance, plus bonuses.
