Residential Doorperson - Crown Sydney

About the role

Crown Sydney is home to the Crown Residences at One Barangaroo, and it is looking for a Residential Doorperson to join its team. As a Crown Ambassador, you will deliver exceptional service to residents and visitors, ensuring a seamless and professional arrival and departure experience. The role coordinates residential entrance operations, including guest greeting and assistance, driveway and door activities, and the safe parking and retrieval of vehicles.

The team works a rotating roster with shifts between 7 am and 11.30 pm, with day, evening and weekend shifts provided in advance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personalised, professional service to residents and their guests with a warm, engaging presence on the driveway
• Handle luggage, coordinate vehicles and manage the driveway during arrivals and departures
• Coordinate the timely delivery of resident items, including newspapers and special requests
• Support the Residential Concierge team in day-to-day operations
• Respond promptly to resident and guest needs
• Liaise with departments such as Bell Services, Front Office, Crown Spa and Events
• Advise residents and guests on residential services, building facilities and precinct offers

Required profile

• Demonstrated guest-facing experience in a hotel, hospitality or residential environment
• Full, unrestricted NSW driver's licence
• Ability to provide superior service in a luxury environment and to multi-task under pressure with VIP guests
• Excellent communication and time management, and ability to manage multiple communication channels

Required skills

• Understanding of residential or hotel PMS such as MYBOS or OPERA is advantageous
