Residential & Commercial Estimator

About the role

Superior People Recruitment is seeking an experienced Estimator, or a trade professional such as a carpenter, to move their on-site knowledge into an office role. The estimator will be central to project cost accuracy and purchasing, providing accurate, comprehensive cost estimations and quantity take-offs for residential building projects.

Key responsibilities

• Cost estimation and take-offs
• Price book and software management
• Purchase orders and budgeting
• Job control
• Sales estimating
• On-site problem solving

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience as a residential or commercial estimator
• A trade background (e.g. carpentry) with a genuine desire to move into an office-based role
• A background with a construction supplier or building material manufacturer
• Draftsperson or similar experience with an understanding of building plans, construction processes and procurement practices
• Local to Shepparton or willing to relocate
