Reservations Agent

About the role

ibis Perth, a 192-room hotel in the Perth CBD owned by Accor, is looking for a Reservations Agent. You will be the first point of contact for guests, making them feel welcome and helping them choose their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Manage guest bookings, changes and cancellations accurately and professionally
• Answer guest inquiries promptly and courteously by phone, email and other channels
• Explain room types, rates, packages and amenities so guests can choose their ideal stay
• Keep up to date on hotel services, promotions and local attractions
• Note special requests and preferences and communicate them to the right departments
• Work with the front office and sales team to maximise occupancy and revenue
• Resolve booking-related issues quickly and deliver excellent guest service

Required profile

• Prior experience in a reservations or customer service role in the hospitality industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational ability and attention to detail
• Positive, professional demeanour and a passion for guest experiences
• Team player able to collaborate in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

• Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS)
• Familiarity with reservations software; Opera Cloud is an advantage
