About the role

NextClinic is seeking qualified doctors to deliver virtual consultations across Australia. Using a purpose‑built telehealth platform, you will provide patient‑centred care from any location, enjoying clinical autonomy and a flexible schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct video or phone consultations with patients, assessing and managing a range of medical conditions.
• Prescribe medication through an integrated e‑prescribing system.
• Document clinical notes accurately within the platform.
• Collaborate with NextClinic’s clinical and technical support teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain compliance with AHPRA regulations and uphold patient safety standards.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree with full AHPRA General Registration.
• Minimum PGY4 experience (registrar or senior GP level).
• Excellent communication, clinical reasoning, and decision‑making abilities.
• Comfortable using digital health tools and technology.
• Self‑motivated, adaptable, and able to manage time effectively in a remote setting.

• Proficiency with telehealth platforms.
• Experience with integrated e‑prescribing systems.
