Remote Support Engineer – Japanese Speaking

About the role

Join Rockwell Automation’s Remote Support team to provide Japanese‑language assistance for customers using Rockwell and Allen‑Bradley software. This position offers the chance to deepen expertise in industrial automation technologies such as PLCs, SCADA, HMI, and industrial networks.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, chat, and email in Japanese, troubleshooting issues and documenting resolutions.
• Analyze and simulate client problems, research solutions, and follow Knowledge‑Centered Support (KCS) processes.
• Maintain detailed service ticket notes, set expectations, and follow up promptly.
• Develop technical documentation, technical notes, and how‑to guides to improve customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience with industrial automation products/systems.
• Fluent Japanese; intermediate English is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Rockwell software such as FactoryTalk OperationSuite, FactoryTalk View Site Edition, ThinManager, FactoryTalk Historian, FactoryTalk VantagePoint, FactoryTalk AssetCentre, FactoryTalk Metrics, FactoryTalk Transaction Manager, FactoryTalk EnergyMetrix, FactoryTalk Batch, PlantPAX.
• Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, industrial networks, and SCADA systems.
• CCNA or equivalent industrial networking certification (preferred).
