Reliability & Maintenance Coordinator

About the role

Our client, a leading 3PL provider for high‑volume e‑commerce, is looking for a Reliability & Maintenance Coordinator to oversee equipment uptime in a state‑of‑the‑art automated distribution centre. The role focuses on coordinating planned and reactive maintenance, analysing performance data and driving continuous improvement to ensure operational reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance activities to maximise equipment uptime and system availability.
• Monitor and improve uptime, MTBF and overall equipment performance.
• Investigate and eliminate causes of unplanned downtime using structured problem‑solving.
• Schedule and prioritise maintenance work to minimise disruption.
• Liaise with internal teams and external contractors for rapid fault resolution.
• Maintain accurate records in the CMMS and ensure data integrity for uptime tracking.
• Analyse performance data to identify reliability trends.
• Support and enhance preventative and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives focused on uptime optimisation.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and site procedures.

Required profile

• Experience in maintenance coordination, reliability or planning within logistics, manufacturing or automated environments.
• Proven ability to work where equipment uptime is critical.
• Familiarity with CMMS or maintenance management systems.
• Technical understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems.
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret performance data.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
