Relationship Executive, Commercial Banking

About the role

The team at the Essendon Fields Business Centre is made up of Relationship Executives and Analysts who manage a diversified client base and provide tailored business and commercial banking solutions. The focus is on businesses with annual turnover between $5 million and $30 million, covering cash flow management, lending, wealth, risk management and investment advice. The role suits an experienced Business Banker or Analyst moving into a Relationship Executive position, developing expertise in complex, high-value lending.

Key responsibilities

• Manage an established portfolio of clients, delivering exceptional service and strengthening existing relationships
• Identify and secure new business opportunities, using your network and referral partners to find new-to-bank prospects
• Work with product specialists to deliver holistic banking solutions
• Drive deal execution by originating, structuring and negotiating complex commercial lending solutions
• Build your profile as a representative of the bank in the Melbourne business community

Required profile

• Experience successfully managing and growing a Business Banking or Commercial Banking portfolio
• Strong experience in business and commercial lending
• A genuine passion for client service, relationship management and business development

Required skills

• Deep understanding of banking products and services
• Sound financial analysis and credit assessment skills
• Strong understanding of financial statements and underlying cash flow drivers
