Rehabilitation Consultant – Psychologist or Rehab Counsellor

About the role

Join IPAR, a national occupational rehabilitation provider, as a Rehabilitation Consultant in Port Macquarie. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver occupational rehabilitation services across a range of schemes, supporting clients with physical and psychological conditions to achieve sustainable return‑to‑health and return‑to‑work outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a manageable caseload with support from Rehabilitation Assistants.
• Conduct clinical and vocational assessments, including initial, workplace and functional capacity assessments.
• Partner with employers and employees to deliver injury‑prevention and workplace education programs.
• Collaborate with injured workers, insurers and other health professionals to identify barriers and design practical recovery solutions.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling.
• General or provisional registration with AHPRA, or eligibility for ASORC membership.
• Strong communication, relationship‑building and client‑centred approach.
• Current NSW driver’s licence and access to an insured vehicle.
• Empathy, resilience and excellent time‑management skills.
