Rehabilitation Consultant - Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist

About the role

Altius Group, a provider of rehabilitation services founded in 2001, is hiring a Rehabilitation Consultant in Adelaide. You will help people who have been injured, ill or disabled recover and regain independence, improving their quality of life and reintegration into the community and the workforce. The role sits within the Rehabilitation Services department and is advertised as hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Develop personalised rehabilitation plans using a whole-of-person approach
• Complete assessments such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments and Activities of Daily Living Assessments
• Identify return-to-work pathways aligned with likely recovery milestones
• Use clinical experience and injury management knowledge to assess claimants and support their return to work
• Work with clients, their families, insurers, employers and other health professionals to evaluate physical, psychological and social factors
• Present case information and give credible recommendations to stakeholders

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology
• Full registration with AHPRA or ESSA
• Full Australian working rights
• Current driver's licence and a car
