Rehabilitation Consultant - Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, EP

About the role

Altius Group, which offers rehabilitation services across Australia, is hiring a Rehabilitation Consultant in Port Macquarie. You will help injured, ill or disabled people recover, regain independence and return to work, working with clients, families, insurers, employers and other health professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop personalised rehabilitation plans using a whole-of-person approach
• Complete assessments such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments and Activities of Daily Living Assessments
• Identify return-to-work pathways aligned with recovery milestones
• Use clinical experience and injury management knowledge to assess claimants and support their return to work
• Work with clients, families, insurers, employers and other healthcare professionals to evaluate physical, psychological and social factors
• Present case information and give credible recommendations to stakeholders

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology
• Full registration with AHPRA or ESSA
• Full Australian working rights
• Current driver's licence and a car
