Registered Nurse - Theatre Recovery (PACU)

About the role

Hollywood Private Hospital, a modern acute care hospital in Nedlands owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care, is looking for an experienced, patient-focused Registered Nurse to join its dedicated PACU / Recovery Unit. The position is permanent and full-time, and involves performing accurate and comprehensive patient assessments to address short- and long-term needs.

Required profile

• Current registration with AHPR.
• Minimum three years' full-time post-graduate experience, including one year in a PACU / Recovery Unit.
• Proven ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate patients' care delivery needs.
• Paediatric experience desirable.
• Willingness to train nurses with a suitable nursing background.
• Willingness to accept and promote Ramsay's core values.
• Candidates with, or working towards, a postgraduate qualification in Perioperative Nursing or Post-Anaesthetic Care who have completed a preceptorship program are highly regarded.
• A National Police Check within the last 12 months; a Working-With-Children Check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases may be required depending on the role.
