Nuclear Medicine Technologist

About the role

Icon Theranostic Centre Hollywood in Nedlands, Western Australia, is expanding its Theranostic services and is looking for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. The site has a Siemens Biograph Trinion PET/CT, a Siemens Symbia Pro.specta X3 and a comprehensive Theranostics laboratory. The role involves delivering diagnostic and therapeutic services such as PET/CT, SPECT/CT, diagnostic CT imaging and radionuclide therapies, working with a multidisciplinary team and taking part in clinical trials and research.

Key responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine procedures, PET/CT, diagnostic CT and therapeutic radionuclide administrations
• Operate radiopharmacy equipment and ensure quality control of radiopharmaceuticals
• Collaborate with clinical teams to support patient care and clinical research
• Maintain accurate records and uphold radiation safety standards
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to education and continuous improvement

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Applied Science in Nuclear Medicine Technology
• Current registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia / AHPRA
• Eligible for licensing with the Radiological Council of WA
• Experience in nuclear medicine and PET/CT
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Commitment to continuing professional education and innovation

• Desirable: experience in Theranostic services and radionuclide therapy, clinical trial research, contrast-enhanced diagnostic CT and student supervision
