Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in emergency, acute and aged‑care units.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care using evidence‑based practice.
• Participate in on‑call roster and respond to the unique health needs of a remote community.
• Contribute to quality‑improvement, clinical governance and safety initiatives.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.

Required profile

• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA); postgraduate qualifications are welcomed.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high‑quality nursing care in a rural multi‑purpose health service.
• Strong clinical reasoning, critical thinking and ownership of practice.
• Effective leadership, collaboration and clear communication within a team.
