Registered Nurse – Residential Aged Care

About the role

Mercy Health is looking for a Registered Nurse for its residential aged care facility in East Melbourne. This is a casual position focused on providing quality, resident-centred care to older and vulnerable people, and on leading a team of carers and nurses.

Key responsibilities

• Provide resident-focused and clinical care using a person-centred approach
• Supervise and lead a team of carers and nurses, demonstrating the organisation's core values
• Get to know residents and their families and take an active part in building those relationships
• Carry out assessments, treatments and documentation to the highest standard

Required profile

• Resilient, compassionate and committed to exceptional patient-centred care
• Recognised tertiary qualification and current AHPRA registration
• Demonstrated record of achievement and experience in residential aged care
• Valid police check and NDIS clearance

• Excellent time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and solve problems
